I think that when I signed up to be in CGA, a part of me expected to be in a community of really put together christians.
HA.
None of us are put together. There are so so SO many things that we are all struggling with. Be that fear, or rejection, hurts from the past, or some sin that is holding us down. We are ALL broken, all in different ways.
Brokenness, however, does not dictate our lives.
The Lord revels in our brokenness.
“God uses broken things. It takes broken soil to produce a crop, broken clouds to give rain, broken grain to give bread, broken bread to give strength. It is the broken alabaster box that gives forth perfume. It is Peter, weeping bitterly, who returns to greater power than ever.” -Vance Havner
Adventures in Missions is a place of broken people. And it doesn’t stop there. Adventures in Missions is a place of broken people doing amazing, amazing things for the Lord. And it feels great to be a part of this community.
So. I’m messed up. You’re messed up. Let’s go do stuff.
